Abstract | Three case studies of organizational change and transformation are the basis for discussing leadership approaches used by professional school deans to promote and nurture change processes. The settings are schools of social work in three universities, each with a unique mission: serving the Catholic community; serving the African American community; and addressing Ivy League community research priorities.
